BUSINESS 101 General Info
Please note that this is a 14 week course.
Class Policies: Always remain in communication with me. If you’re late or missing class, or late with an assignment, contact me via email. You will know assignment due dates and are free to set your own priorities with full knowledge of the consequences.
Attendance: You are required to attend all classes. Three absences equals failure of the class.
Tardies: You are expected to be in class on time. Three tardies equals one absence.
Eating: Don’t eat in the classroom. Liquids are acceptable. We will take a 20 minute break at approximately 8:20pm, please take care of your snack needs then.
Deadlines: Please hand in assignments on time. Unless specified, homework is due the following class session. A late assignment will not be accepted after one week past the due date. Late assignment will be graded down a whole grade. Turn in assignments in the format requested.
Participation: Your participation in class will factor into your final grade for the class. You are expected to be respectful of others and to lake part in the discussions.
Grades: Do all Homework Assignments—failure to do so will likely result in a bad overall score. You will be graded on the completeness and accuracy of your homework, on class participation, and on any Extra Credit completed. You will NOT be able to pass this class without completion of the Contract assignment. Your score from Terry’s section of Business 101 will be blended with the one received in Matteo’s section for a final grade.
